Highly contagious disease that affects skin.

Etiology - External Parasites

Symptoms -

  • Alopecia (hair fall) on affected area.
  • Itching on affected area.
  • Dryness of the skin.
Diagnose - Signs and symptoms and microscopic examination of skin.
Treatment-
  • Anthelminthic drug i.e. Ivermectin / Doramectin
  • Antifungal / antibacterial lotion on affected area. (himax/kiskin/lorexane/charmil)
  • For better result administer inj. dicrysticin, inj. chlorpheniramine maleate, inj. meloxicam, inj. A D3 E & H
  • Provide good quality of mineral mixture to the animal on regular basis.
